The Role of Dubai International Arbitration Centre in Resolving Commercial Disputes
For cross-border disputes centred in the GCC or MENA region, the Dubai International Arbitration Centre(DIAC) remains one of the principal institutions for the administration of commercial arbitrations. DIAC was established in 1994 and now operates as an independent institution with a three-tier structure comprising a Board of Directors, an Arbitration Court, and an administrative body. Its current Arbitration Rules came into force on 21 March 2022.
