2024 March Madness National Championship odds going into Sweet 16
After the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, we still have all of our No. 1 and No. 2 seeds as half the participants in the upcoming Sweet 16.
The favorite remains UConn out of the East Region, with Houston (South) and Purdue (Midwest) behind them. Despite being the No. 1 seed in the West, North Carolina has been supplanted as the favorite there by Arizona, which sits at fourth on the odds board.
Duke currently sits in the middle part of the board, while North Carolina State still has plenty of value as the 16th team on a 16-team odds board.

North Carolina Tar Heels odds to win the national championship (+1300 or better)
The top-seeded Tar Heels dismantled Michigan State to earn a trip to the Sweet 16. It will take on No. 4 Alabama, winners of two games against double-digit seeds. The Crimson Tide are sure to have their stiffest test yet facing RJ Davis, Armando Bacot and the rest of the North Carolina lineup.
Alabama wants to run up and down the court but must make their shots since the Crimson Tide has an awful matchup for defending UNC's size and rebounding advantage. Mark Sears has 56 points and 16 rebounds in two tournament games from the guard position. On the other side, UNC had four players score in double figures in the win over Michigan State.
Duke odds to win the national championship (+2500 or better)
Duke has dominated their way into the Sweet 16, but similar to Alabama, beat two double-digit seeds in the process. Still, anytime you beat a team by 38 in the NCAA Tournament (which the Blue Devils did to James Madison), you take notice.
Duke has four players in the starting lineup who scored 14+ plus points on Sunday, while Jared McCain went for 30 on just 15 shots. Up next is No. 1 Houston in Dallas, which will certainly the Blue Devils' toughest game yet.
North Carolina State odds to win March Madness (+12000 or better)
If you were labeling a team of destiny, why not the North Carolina State Wolfpack? Now winners of seven games in a row, the ACC Tournament champs are now in the Sweet 16 following wins over Texas Tech and Oakland. In the second round, DJ Burns went for 24 points on 9-for-12 shooting and added 11 rebounds as all five Wolfpack starters scored in double figures.
North Carolina State still has a massive hill to climb with Marquette and then Houston or Duke to reach the Final Four, but the +12000 odds could be worth it considering a $1 wager wins $120.
